Alexis Rose Alford, also
known as Lexie limitless is a 22 year old American women who holds the official
Guinness World Record for being the youngest person to have visited all 196
countries before reaching the age of twenty-one.
Like you saw in the video, she
graduated from high school early at the age of 18 as she realized that at that
time she had already traveled to about 72 countries and that when it dawned on
her that she could actually break this world record. She was determined to show
everyone that the world around isn’t as scary as we see it in the news and
there’s kindness everywhere.
Personally I love travelling
just as much as anyone but the real reason I was amazed by this young women’s
journey was because ….it wasn’t EASY.
The most famous question she
has been asked is how did she afford her dream, how does she afford to travel
especially from such an young age, In word she compromised.
It takes a lot to live a
life of travel unless you are lucky and fortunate enough to be born in a billionaire’s
house. Saving money at a young age is extremely difficult, you learn to stay
clear from expensive materialistic things, fancy degree sometimes you even have
to sacrifice the people in your life and the things you grown accustomed to you
wanna reach someplace. These are the challenges she had to overcome to
experience what other places in the world had to offer.
For all the travelers who
want to know more about her experience you can check her out

she has written about some
interesting topics that are worth hearing, like
*Travel tips for solo Female
(male!) travelers
*how does she afford to
travel
*Her teenage years
“I’ve been money hungry since I was 12 years old.”
Over the years she has had
many hustles, she started as a construction rat on her dad’s job sites, mostly
painting houses. She eventually moved onto landscaping, mowing lawns. She even
ran a successful lemonade stand until she was old enough to legally work,
currently she holds three very different jobs , you see it isn’t always easy
She says;
Make a goal
Write it down
Work on it every single day
N don’t waste it on things
that aren’t important (to you).
This is something you can
expect from someone who is determined to see their dreams come true and its
safe to say it wasn’t her dream to one day hold the Guinness world record but
was just to see everything the world had to offer her. But you see, every great
accomplishment starts with that one single Dream
And We need more dreamers in this age
of robots, dreamers like Lexie who are defying the odds and doing things people
never thought was possible. Dreamers who don’t let doubt or question the
possibility of their dream but just DREAM.
So the next time you ever have a dream so big
that everyone in your life tries to talk you out of it and they call you crazy
and tell you that its impossible, don’t let it go so easily.
