Charlie Jabaley, 300 pound music millionaire turned Nike athlete to run the IRON MAN

Have you ever dreamed so big, that it would change the lives of so many others, and end up changing your own, forever?

Charlie Jabaley wasn't your typical kid from Georgia (United States). Sometimes labelled, "the chubby kid", Charlie was a dreamer. Knowing that he needed to use his imagination as a weapon to survive the playground, Charlie created his first persona, CEO Charlie. He had other ideas. Like pursuing the life of an athlete. But, that had to wait.

As a young CEO millionaire of Atlanta Hip-hop management company, Street Execs, he sold millions of records, changed the trajectory of how to market to millennials, and guided the careers of influential artists like Grammy award winning 2Chainz. However, while all the success was pouring in, he battled depression, binge eating, crippling insecurities and a brain tumor. To everyone on the outside, CEO Charlie was crushing it. On the inside, he was dying. Unhealthy, unhappy and unfilled, Charlie retired in 2017 at the age of 29 from both the music industry and the name “CEO Charlie”. He made the decision to reinvent his life in pursuit of his childhood dream to become an athlete.

Charlie Jabaley is a globally-recognized serial entrepreneur, speaker, and influencer on a mission to transform millions of people worldwide. Charlie is the former manager of 2Chainz (Grammy nominated & winning rap artist) and the previous founder of Street Execs - an Atlanta based hip hop firm managing megastars such as Travis Porter, Young Dolph, and BankRoll.

At the age of 29, he made the decision to reinvent his life in pursuit of his childhood dream to become an athlete

"When I became successful in business, I was fortunate enough to become a millionaire. But when I got sick, that meant absolutely nothing to me. I told myself, 'I want to become a new type of millionaire, one that transforms a million people's lives.' "

AND FROM THE FLAMES EMERGED CHARLIE ROCKET,

Charlie Rocket inspires those around him. He’s lost 135 pounds. Became vegan. Ran 3 marathons. Reversed the growth of his brain tumor. Became an Ironman. Just finished his nationally known Dream Machine bike tour across America. Is currently on the cover of Runner’s World Magazine and secured partnership with Nike. Charlie has rerouted his ambition of making millions of dollars into his current mission to TRANSFORM 1 MILLION PEOPLE’S LIVES.

Never one to do things halfway, Jabaley made several drastic changes. (His upcoming book is titled "The Life and Death of CEO Charlie.")

He left his company and moved to California. He adopted a plant-based diet. He started training with his best friend, Scott Cameron, who challenged him to run his first marathon. Running gave Jabaley something to be proud of, and that, along with his eating habits, resulted in a 120-pound weight loss within a year. He felt great. His brain tumor was under control.

Jabaley made a contract with himself to pursue his dream of becoming an athlete. While he was at it, he planned to touch a million people's lives. Four marathons and an Ironman Triathlon later, he set out on his Dream Machine Tour, a bike ride from Los Angeles to New York. He wanted to inspire people to pursue their dreams with vigor. He wrapped up the cross-country ride this week.

It's not clear how many people he affected, but Jabaley is well on his way to becoming a different kind of millionaire, and fulfilling his ultimate role as inspiration to others.

“They said I’m crazy to try this! They said it’s virtually impossible! I have 65 days to train for the hardest achievement in all of running! My heaviest weight was 305 and to qualify for the Boston marathon is 3:05 (3 hours 5 minuets) I’m 40 lbs overweight. My legs are short! My stride is bad! But what I do have IS MY HEART!!!! I WILL DO THIS!!!”

He is a man of extremes: a self-made millionaire, an athlete who biked across the country and a former brain tumor patient who once weighed 300 pounds.

His name is Charlie Jabaley. And his story isn’t over yet.

What’s your name? What's your story?
